Dryer is one of the drying equipment, generally used to remove moisture contained in wet materials. Most dryers consist of a rotating drum with an inner cylinder driven by a belt and hot air around the drum to evaporate water. The drying cylinder uses the principle of positive and negative rotation of the drum to achieve the role of drying goods.
Large dryers can be divided into rotary dryers, vacuum dryers, three-cylinder dryers; There are also some material exclusive dryers, such as palm wire dryers, chicken manure dryers, slag dryers and so on. Users can make different choices according to their own needs.
There is no inner and outer middle layer of the rotary dryer, only one drum, and the material is directly discharged from one end to the other end when drying. On the change of the direction of the hot air flow, the rotary dryer adopts the counter-current form of drying in the cylinder, and then directly output. The rotary drum dryer occupies a larger area than the three-drum dryer, but it is relatively easy to clean the residual materials in the bucket in the later stage.
The three-cylinder dryer has three layers nested, divided into the inner layer, the middle layer, the outer layer, the sequence of material drying into the inner layer, the middle layer, the outer layer. In terms of the change of the direction of the hot gas flow, the inner layer of the three-cylinder dryer is dried with the flow, that is, the direction of the material movement is the same as the direction of the hot gas entering, and the countercurrent drying is used after entering the middle layer, the direction is opposite, and the outer layer is also in the flow. The three-cylinder dryer uses a three-layer phase set to save floor space compared to the rotary dryer. However, because it is three layers, it is more difficult to remove the residual materials in the cylinder of the three-cylinder dryer than the rotary dryer in the later period.
Scope of application
Tumble dryer is mainly used for drying materials with certain humidity or particle size in building materials, metallurgy, chemical industry, mineral processing and other departments.
